Newton Remains at High West Nile Risk as State Reports New Cases

State health officials on Friday reported three more human West Nile virus cases, bringing the Massachusetts total this year to 11. One of the new cases, a man in his 90s, was exposed in Middlesex County. Newton remains classified as high risk, along with Boston, Brookline, Cambridge and several other communities, and officials advise using repellent and draining standing water.
