Newton North Edges Newton South 20-14 in Garden City Bowl

Two first-quarter Domenic Busa touchdowns — an 8-yard run and a 1-yard plunge — put Newton North ahead early Friday night at Dickinson Stadium. South's defense settled in after a scoreless second quarter and the Lions rallied in the fourth, but North held on for a 20-14 win. It is the Tigers' second consecutive Garden City Bowl trophy.
