Newton to dedicate Setti Warren Plaza during Village Day
The city will name the public gathering space along Bram Way, by 28 Austin Street in the heart of Newtonville, the Setti Warren Plaza in honor of the late mayor. The dedication is set for 12:30 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 20, during Newtonville Village Day festivities. Organizers note the site sits in the neighborhood where Warren grew up and was created through a development he championed.
