Renderings reveal public spaces for Newton Crossing project
Developer Garden Communities released renderings Sept. 16 offering a first look at the apartments, amenities and public spaces planned for Newton Crossing, the mixed-use project at 1165 Washington Street about half a mile from the West Newton commuter rail station. When complete, the development will hold 292 rental apartments and roughly 8,000 square feet of retail across three buildings, with studio through three-bedroom floor plans. The developer says leasing is now expected to begin this fall.
