Boston College beat Rutgers 28-21 on Friday before more than 40,000 fans at Alumni Stadium, forcing four interceptions along the way. The game was the 13th annual Red Bandanna Game honoring Welles Crowther, played on the 25th anniversary of Sept. 11. The Eagles built a 14-0 first-quarter lead and move to 1-1 on the season.
