Education foundation puts $50,000 into Needham High internship network

The Needham Education Foundation announced Tuesday that it invested $50,000 in May to launch the Liftoff Network, an internship program at Needham High School. The program is developing internships, job shadowing and work-study opportunities with community and Greater Boston partners, with student participation planned for the 2027–2028 school year. Its goals include exposing students to fields from business to the trades and expanding access to real-world experience.
