Town urges storm prep ahead of weekend nor'easter

Town officials warn that a nor'easter expected this weekend could bring strong winds and heavy rain, with possible flooding and power outages, and urge residents to take precautions now. Residents should secure outdoor items, charge phones and run generators only outdoors in a well-ventilated area. Report power outages to Eversource at 800-592-2000, never drive or walk through floodwater, and call 911 for downed trees or wires or any emergency.
