Natick Seeks Return of Commuter Rail Express Service

In a Sept. 16 letter, Select Board Chair Kathryn Coughlin asked the MBTA to restore express commuter rail service to Natick Center. Those trains skipped Wellesley, Newton and a Boston stop, and they went away during the pandemic. Coughlin points to significantly increased ridership since the newly accessible Natick Center station reopened, while West Natick already has a handful of inbound and outbound express trains.
