Woman killed, man hospitalized in Pond Street crash
A woman riding as a passenger in a vehicle traveling westbound on Pond Street near Cemetery Street was killed in a two-vehicle crash Tuesday, Sept. 15, according to Natick police. She was taken to MetroWest Medical Center in Framingham, where she was pronounced dead; the man driving that vehicle was taken to a Boston hospital with undisclosed injuries, while the second vehicle's driver was uninjured. Deputy Police Chief Brian Lauzon said the investigation is focused on what put the second vehicle in front of the westbound car, and that State Police crash reconstruction investigators responded and the Middlesex District Attorney's Office has been notified.
