Nahant tax-rate decision pushed to Wednesday
The Select Board and Board of Assessors continued Monday's FY2027 tax-classification hearing without setting a rate. The hearing resumes Wednesday, Sept. 30, from 1 to 3 p.m. in Conference Room #2 at Town Hall, 334 Nahant Road, and on Zoom (Meeting ID 856 1323 5441). The hearing gives taxpayers the opportunity to present their views on how residential, commercial, industrial and open space property should be classified for taxation.
