Milton votes to deactivate 13 Flock license-plate cameras for 90 days
The Select Board voted unanimously Sept. 22 to deactivate all 13 automated license-plate readers for 90 days. The freeze took effect immediately, and town counsel was asked to draft permanent rules before the cameras can be reactivated. Residents at the public session raised concerns about privacy, data misuse and the system’s $39,500 price tag.
