Oktoberfest beer garden joins Farmers' Market tonight at Bowden Park

The Melrose Farmers' Market and Hannah's Brewing Co. host a family-friendly Oktoberfest beer garden from 4 to 7:30 p.m. today at Bowden Park, with a live brass polka band, lawn games, and Oktoberfest treats such as pretzels and brats from The Kitchen. Proceeds support the market's SNAP Match program, which helps residents using SNAP benefits buy fresh food; the July beer garden raised $500 for the program. Regular market vendors are open 2:30 to 6:30 p.m., and guests must be 21 or older with a valid ID to drink beer.
