Run Medford 5K/10K Postponed Due to Storm; Kids Runs Moved Indoors
Organizers postponed Saturday's Run Medford 5K and 10K races, citing forecasts of heavy rain and wind gusts of 40 to 50 mph that raised safety concerns for runners, volunteers, staff and public safety officials. They are working with city officials on a new date, possibly in October, November or December, but none has been announced. Friday's Kids Fun Runs went ahead indoors in the Medford High School gymnasium instead of at Hormel Stadium.
