Medford Police Investigate Late-Night Shooting on Salem Street

Medford police are investigating a shooting reported at about 11:15 p.m. Sunday, August 16, near 389 Salem Street. No injuries were reported, and detectives believe two suspects were involved, both in dark clothing, one possibly wearing a camouflage hooded sweatshirt. Investigators are asking residents and businesses along Salem Street, Sheridan, Grant and Central avenues, Spring Street, Morrison Park, Linwood and Emerald streets and nearby areas to review security, doorbell or surveillance footage from 11 p.m. to 1 a.m. and call the Detective Division at 781-391-6767.
