Medford seeks volunteers for high school fundraising nonprofit

The City of Medford and Medford Public Schools are recruiting volunteers to help establish a nonprofit that would raise private donations for parts of the new Medford High School project that the Massachusetts School Building Authority will not reimburse. Building Committee Chair Jenny Graham said the organization would increase engagement in the project and help drive down the financial impact on residents. Applications are due Monday, Aug. 17, as planning for the school continues through the state's approval process.
