Flood Watch Issued for Boston Area Through Sunday Afternoon

The National Weather Service has issued a flood watch for the Boston area from late Saturday through Sunday afternoon. Showers and embedded thunderstorms could bring 0.5 to 2 inches of rain, with localized bands of 2 to 4 inches possible within a three-hour period, creating a risk of flash flooding, especially in urban areas.
