Mary P. Gillis Obituary Published; Funeral Mass Set for Oct. 2

Mary Pauline (Kelley) Gillis, who was born and raised in Marblehead, died unexpectedly on Wednesday, Sept. 23, at age 90. The wife of the late Dexter C. Gillis for more than 52 years, she was a lifelong, active member of Our Lady Star of the Sea Parish and belonged to the Women's Guild and the Shipyard Association. Her funeral Mass is set for Friday, Oct. 2, at 11 a.m. at Our Lady Star of the Sea Church.
