Police Log Details Craft Fair Scam and Fraud Reports
Marblehead Police investigated a fake vendor-application scam aimed at a local craft fair, one of several fraud and identity-theft cases logged between Aug. 30 and Sept. 6. Officers also assisted United Nations workers trying to return to Ethiopia. The same log records more routine calls, including a man who reported his car missing after a night out and whose vehicle officers later found parked at the Charter School on Lime Street.
