DPW Begins Sewer and Water Main Lining This Week

Contractor National Water Main begins lining sewer mains on Ticehurst Lane and Pilgrim Road today, part of a DPW project the town says aims to eliminate infiltration and inflow in the sanitary sewer system through main lining and property inspections. Work moves street by street through Friday: Rockaway Avenue, Marion Road and Ocean Avenue on Tuesday; Baldwin, Shorewood and Vine on Wednesday; Rock Cliff, Anderson and Curtis on Thursday; and Fort Sewall Lane on Friday. Water main cleaning and lining also continues this week on Cottage, Chestnut, Commercial and Prospect streets.
