Pam Foye, longtime housing commissioner, dies at 83

Pamela Joy "Pam" Foye died Saturday, Sept. 12, at Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers after a brief illness with metastatic cancer, according to her family's obituary. She was 83. Foye served 15 years on the Marblehead Housing Authority's Board of Commissioners and led Anchor to Windward, a nonprofit serving local adults with mild developmental disabilities, and she also ran the Council on Aging's monthly newsletter mailings with a crew of volunteers.
