State DEP Warns Landlord Over Removed Recycling at Malden Complex

Recycling bins serving roughly 50 apartments at a Malden building disappeared in June, and management company CMS Partners told residents in an email that a waste hauler would sort recyclables out at a facility instead. A tenant who couldn't get answers from management or the trash company contacted GBH News, which reported Sept. 22 that the state Department of Environmental Protection warned building management. New bins appeared after GBH contacted officials.
