SUV Crashes Into Santa Fe Burrito Grill in Malden
A maroon Lincoln SUV drove through the front entrance of Santa Fe Burrito Grill and Bar at 205 Pleasant St. shortly after noon Wednesday, and Fire Chief Stephen Froio said no injuries were reported to the driver, pedestrians or anyone inside. Police and Fire Group 4 responded, and the vehicle was later towed. Pleasant Street was temporarily closed between Abbott and Commercial streets while crews cleared debris, with pedestrians limited to the opposite sidewalk; the driver's identity and the cause of the crash have not been released.
