Lynnfield schools present 2026-27 improvement plan

Superintendent Tom Geary and other district representatives presented the 2026-27 School Improvement Plan to the School Committee on Sept. 21, with goals in social-emotional learning, family engagement and math instruction identified by school councils. Geary said school councils discussed focus areas last spring, the committee reviewed and approved his goals from June to August, and those goals shaped the plan's action items over the summer. He said the action items tie back to the district's mission and strategic plan and are built around four pillars, beginning with academic excellence for all.
