Inaugural Sak Strong 5K Honors Late Educator Chris Sakelakos

The inaugural Sak Strong 5K, along with a 1-mile walk and youth fun run, was held Sunday, Sept. 20, at Lt. Ross Park in honor of the late Lynnfield High School educator Chris Sakelakos. Proceeds benefit the Sak Strong Foundation, which supports osteosarcoma research. Organizers described the event as a way to bring together families, friends, survivors, healthcare professionals and community members in the fight against the disease.
