Sen. Markey campaigns in Lynn ahead of Democratic primary

U.S. Sen. Ed Markey brought his reelection campaign to Lynn on Aug. 23, pledging to fight for federal investment in the city as the Democratic primary approaches. State Rep. Dan Cahill welcomed him to the podium, and Mayor Jared C. Nicholson, state Sen. Joan Lovely, City Council President Coco Alinsug, Councilor-at-Large Brian LaPierre, and School Committee members Brenda Ortiz McGrath and Tristan Smith appeared with him.
