Driver cited in hit-and-run of 7-year-old on Park Street

Police responded just before 7 p.m. to a report of a child hit by a car on Park Street and found the 7-year-old with facial and head abrasions. The child was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Authorities say the driver stopped before allegedly leaving the scene; police later located the vehicle and cited the driver for leaving the scene of a personal injury accident.
