Recreation Director Melissa Battite Inducted as AAPRA Fellow

Melissa Termine Battite, Lexington's Director of Recreation and Community Programs, was inducted September 30 as a Fellow of the American Academy for Park and Recreation Administration, one of the highest professional honors in parks, recreation and conservation. The induction took place at the Academy's annual awards dinner in Philadelphia, held alongside the National Recreation and Park Association conference. The Academy recognizes leaders whose careers show exceptional service and lasting contributions to the communities they serve.
