Hybrid Suicide-Prevention Training Set for Community Center

Lexington Human Services and Riverside Trauma Center present 'Suicide Prevention for Communities,' a free two-hour hybrid training, today from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Lexington Community Center in honor of Suicide Prevention Month. Developed by the creators of the SOS Signs of Suicide program, the facilitator-led session uses video and interactive discussion to help adults recognize warning signs and risk factors, respond using the ACT (Acknowledge, Care, Tell) framework, and find local and national mental health resources. Those joining remotely will find the Zoom link in their registration receipt.
