School Committee reviewed calendar and Alpha School timeline

The Lexington School Committee met Tuesday, Aug. 25, from 6:00 to 8:20 p.m. at 173 Bedford Street, taking a vote on the updated 2026-2027 school calendar and reviewing the Alpha School timeline. The agenda also included the LPS Summer Work Intensive 2026, three Community Speak periods, and a superintendent's report with high school building project updates. The meeting was held in hybrid format, with agendas, minutes and recordings posted through the LPS website.
