Minute Man image appears on Boston MA250 banners
Bruce Leader, a Lexington resident and member of the Lexington Minute Men, appears on large Massachusetts 250 banners in Boston's Seaport District and at the neighborhood's Silver Line station, shown atop his horse Nikko reenacting Paul Revere's midnight ride. The photo was taken at Fenway Park on Apr. 23, when Leader and fellow Minute Man Bob Allegretto, portraying George Washington, rode onto the field during a celebration of the nation's 250th birthday before a Red Sox-Yankees game. Leader said he did not know the image had been made into banners until a fellow Minute Man spotted them and sent him a photo.
