Broadway Safety Project Enters Final 2026 Phase

The final major 2026 phase of the Broadway Safety Improvement Project begins Monday, Aug. 10, with milling and paving between Lee Street and Quincy Street expected to take about two weeks. All parking will be restricted during paving operations, and once the work is done, parking will be allowed on only one side of Broadway; changes between Lee/Fayette and Quincy streets start the same week. The street stays open to two-way traffic for most of the work, though occasional detours or driveway closures may be necessary.
