Cambridge City Council to tackle zoning, red-light cameras Aug. 3

Monday's City Council agenda includes a City Manager communication on AR26-35, which asked the city to review state bills and a previously filed home rule petition and draft a new one allowing Cambridge to install cameras enforcing red light, speeding and other moving violations. Also on the agenda are committee reports on setbacks and wet labs under the new Cambridge Street zoning, a federal update covering relevant court cases, and the Police Review & Advisory Board's second-quarter report. Public comment is expected.
