Applications close for 29 affordable apartments at 4 Mellen St

Applications for a lottery of 29 new affordable rental apartments at 4 Mellen Street in the Baldwin neighborhood must reach Homeowners Rehab Inc. by 5 p.m. today, with the lottery set for August 13 at 3 p.m. via Teams; applicants are not required to attend. The transit-oriented development converted the historic Charles Saunders House into four affordable apartments and added a rear addition built to Passive House standards with 25 more, in one-, two- and three-bedroom sizes. Applications can be filed online or returned by mail to HRI at 810 Memorial Drive, #200.
