Red Line service resumes Friday after 10-day shutdown

Free shuttle buses replace Red Line trains between Alewife and Park Street through today, July 30, the final day of a 10-day suspension that also affected Kendall/MIT, Central, Harvard, Porter, Davis and Charles/MGH. The MBTA used the closure to complete track work, signal improvements and other repairs. Regular subway service resumes Friday, July 31; riders can check mbta.com/RedLine and camb.ma/redline for updates.
