Police search for e-scooter operator in Vassar Street hit-and-run

Cambridge police released a photo as they work to identify an electric scooter operator who allegedly struck a 9-year-old child on Vassar Street before fleeing. The individual is described as a man with a "man bun" hairstyle, wearing a teal T-shirt and black shorts, and appears to have a face tattoo. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Cambridge Police Traffic Unit at 617-349-3300, or submit anonymous tips through the department's website.
