Jamaica Plain Open Studios canceled, won't be rescheduled

The Jamaica Plain Arts Council has canceled this weekend's Open Studios on both Saturday and Sunday because of the incoming nor'easter, citing safety in 'unprecedented conditions.' Executive Director Susan Duprey said a rain date is not feasible given the event's complexity and venue schedules, so JPOS will not be rescheduled this year. The Arts Council is encouraging residents to support artists through the digital map, which links to 2026 Artist Profiles, and through artists' own websites and social media.
