Neighbors Get Say in White Stadium Parking Plan

At a Tuesday meeting in Nubian Square, Mayor Michelle Wu and city officials presented a draft transportation plan that includes a game-day no-parking zone covering a .75-mile radius around White Stadium, with permits for residents whose non-commercial cars are registered to their address and $100 tickets plus $130 tows for others. Wu said residents will be able to opt in or out of the bans, calling it "a street-by-street decision through the neighborhood associations." A Jamaica Plain transportation meeting on the plan is set for Sept. 24.
