AI-powered Alpha School to open in former Croft space in JP
Alpha School, a national network that relies on AI software and claims students can finish core academics in two hours a day, plans a campus at 3815 Washington St., a spokesperson told WBUR. The site was vacated when the Croft School closed in June after accumulating more than $12 million in debt and founder Scott Given admitted misleading families, staff and investors about its finances. Alpha says it will open 27 campuses this year, including a second Boston location in Beacon Hill.
