Ipswich Honors Fallen Responders on 25th Anniversary of 9/11

Under bright morning sun, dozens gathered outside Ipswich Fire and Police Headquarters on Friday for a bell-tolling ceremony marking 25 years since the September 11 attacks. Lt. Brett Emerson lowered the flags while Lt. Jeremy Dalton tolled the bell at 8:46 a.m., followed by a moment of silence and a rendition of 'Taps.' The service honored the 2,753 victims at the World Trade Center, including 343 FDNY members, and remembered those lost at the Pentagon and on Flight 93.
