Select Board Backs $16.37M Plymouth River School Roof Deck Replacement

The Select Board unanimously recommended favorable action on a $16.37 million Plymouth River Elementary School roof project. It will now replace the full roof deck after the School Building Committee found that the sections it had hoped to salvage are 92% loaded. The article goes to the Oct. 29 Special Town Meeting alongside an $8.576 million South Elementary roof, with state reimbursement estimated at 36.89% of eligible costs, or about $5.76 million for Plymouth River and a town share of $10.61 million.
