Hingham Opens Nominations for 2026 Veteran of the Year
The Hingham Veterans Council is accepting nominations for the 2026 Hank Maude "Service Above Self" Veteran of the Year Award, with the recipient announced at the town's Veterans Day celebration on November 11 at Town Hall. The honoree will be formally recognized by the district's state senator and state representative, and will receive a banner and a ride in the July 4th parade. Nominations should be submitted in letter or essay format with a completed application form, by mail, email, or drop-off to the Department of Veterans Services at 210 Central Street.
