Man arrested after reported assault at Porter Square gym

Cambridge police arrested a man at the scene Thursday morning after responding just after 9 a.m. to a report of sexual assault in the women's locker room at the Planet Fitness on Massachusetts Avenue in Porter Square. One victim was taken to a hospital for evaluation, and the incident remains under investigation. The gym is on the bottom floor of Lesley University's University Hall, a multi-use building with several private businesses open to the public.
