Larry Aaronson, Legendary CRLS History Teacher, Dies at 86
Larry Aaronson died peacefully in his sleep at 7:11 a.m. Saturday, according to friends posting through his own social media account. For more than four decades he taught history and social sciences at Cambridge Rindge and Latin School, specializing in alternative progressive education and issues of social justice, and he was also known for promoting the dramatic arts. The Aaronson Fund, formed after his retirement, said in 2008 that he took pride in the hundreds of CRLS graduates working in the public sector on social justice issues.
