Cape Ann Plein Air Begins Saturday for 10th Anniversary

Cape Ann Plein Air runs October 3–11, bringing 36 juried artists to paint across Cape Ann, including Gloucester, as they compete for awards and prizes, with a $10,000 first place. The week includes live demonstrations, a Quickdraw competition with more than 100 artists, an opening reception, a Gala and Art Sale, and judges' talks. Gloucester painter Jeff Weaver, known for his depictions of the city's working waterfront, is this year's event judge.
