Last Day for Purple Trash Bags Before Cart Rollout
Today, Wednesday, September 30, is the final day of the city-issued purple trash bag program, and Casella's automated cart service begins Thursday, October 1. The city warns residents not to use their new Casella carts before October 1: purple bags placed in a Casella cart before then will not be serviced. Bulk item stickers are non-refundable but may be used through today.
