High Wind Warning in Effect for Gloucester Through Sunday
The National Weather Service has a high wind warning in effect for Gloucester from 8 a.m. Friday to 2 a.m. Sunday, with northeast winds of 25 to 35 mph and gusts up to 60 mph. Forecasters say damaging winds will blow down branches and power lines, power outages are expected, and travel may be difficult, especially for high-profile vehicles. Residents are urged to secure loose objects that could be blown around or damaged.
