City to seek proposals for Rogers Street I4-C2 site Monday

Gloucester launches a call for Expressions of Interest on Monday, September 21, for development of the "I4-C2" site at 65 Rogers Street, with submissions due through BidNet Direct by 11 a.m. on October 28. The requirements grow out of a site visioning process the city ran between March and June, which asked residents which economic, maritime, public access and environmental benefits they most wanted — and what would be a deal breaker. A site visit for prospective development teams is planned for early October, and if the process yields promising concepts the city says it would later run a competitive Request for Proposals.
