Education Foundation Awards $293,000 to Gloucester Schools

The Gloucester Education Foundation is opening the 2026-27 school year with $293,000 for seven Gloucester Public Schools programs, including a $100,000 K-8 STEM coordinator, $64,000 for GHS Medical Assisting and $50,000 for the GHS Engineering Lab. Also funded: O'Maley Academy ($30,000), grades 4-8 band ($30,000, with another $30,000 in January), the O'Maley Science Central Wilson intern ($5,000) and the Gender Equity in STEM Club ($14,000). GEF says more is coming, with competitive grants for educators to be awarded in November, February and May.
