Citizenship workshop offers free application help at library
Project Citizenship and the Framingham Public Library host a free citizenship application workshop today from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., with pro bono attorneys and volunteers helping attendees complete N-400 forms and multilingual resources on hand. Applicants must be at least 18 and a legal permanent resident for five years, or three years if married to a U.S. citizen. The nonprofit can also help with the application fee, which tops $700; it says more than 70 percent of its clients get that fee reduced or waived, including those enrolled in SNAP or MassHealth.
