Brigham nurses vote to authorize open-ended strike

Nurses at Brigham and Women's Hospital voted overwhelmingly—2,986 to 215—to authorize an open-ended strike if contract negotiations fail. No strike date has been set; the union must provide 10 days' notice before any walkout.
